The Elemental Series is conceived as a set of six interlocking series based on the natural world; Dreaming in Stone, Waterways, Aerial Boundaries, Fire Within, Songs from Wood, and Animalia. The series focus of inquiry is two-fold: nature's subtle palette and the various levels of order man extracts from nature, from the early geometric foundations to emerging understandings of fractal complexity and interelatedness. It starts with the notion that the observer and the observed are inseparable and concludes that the line of inquiry can be as revealing as the final answer.
