The relationship between people and water is as old as life itself.
Wherever there is a pool or fountain, people will interact with the liquid,
which cools, exercises and relaxes. Reflections and distortions have always
fascinated me, especially the optical illusions created by uneven surfaces
and water. Watching figures run or walk through, play and swim in pools
or fountains, I noticed that the liquid would often create ghost-like, or
unreal figures. People who move underwater exist in a different world, which
I create in these images.
